The children's version of the third jersey for the 2024/25 season is all about the White Meadow, Borussia Dortmund's first home ground. The white jersey features a poplar pattern reminiscent of the poplar trees that once colored the ground white on the football pitch. In August 1924, 100 years ago, the "White Meadow," which had been converted into a stadium, lost its name and has since proudly been known as BORUSSIA-SPORTPLATZ. As part of the "RE:FIBRE" process, supplier PUMA used 95% recycled polyester in the material composition of the third jersey. Using a new technology from PUMA, no longer needed polyester is transformed into new fabric, which is now being implemented in the jerseys.
