Looking at our Kogge’s new away kit, many Hansa fans will likely feel a surge of emotion. This new jersey is designed in the style of the 1998/99 season, recalling the legendary Bundesliga survival on May 29, 1999, in Bochum. Back then, our lads secured their place in the top flight in the final seconds, with goals from the iconic Victor Agali, Oliver Neuville, and Sławomir Majak in a 3:2 win. This match is undeniably one of the most significant events in the club’s history and holds cult status.
Similarly, the kits from that season are highly prized by collectors and cherished by many Hansa fans. To mark the 25th anniversary of this moment, we’re re-releasing this design and, together with our kit supplier “Mizuno,” presenting it as the away kit for the current season.
The kit features red and navy colors, reimagining the original design in a modern way. The white cuffs and subtle stripe texture add a premium, elegant touch. And of course, this special piece wouldn’t be complete without the number 1965 on the back of the neck.
