The Stuttgart Stäffele in the chest ring as a symbol of the connection with our home city. What defines a VfB Stuttgart jersey, and what does the city of Stuttgart actually stand for? The new home jersey for the 2025/2026 season answers these questions in a very special and unprecedented way by combining the two unmistakable hallmarks—the red chest ring, which turns 100 years old this year, and the Stuttgart Stäffele. This symbolizes the bond between the club from Cannstatt and its home city in the basin. Together with our new main sponsor LBBW on the chest and our long-standing outfitter JAKO, the new kit under the motto "STEP UP!" connects regional roots with the ambition to keep moving forward. This symbiosis is achieved through a modern yet harmonious design in the club colors white and red, as well as progressive structures in the chest ring and an innovative embossing across the entire jersey fabric. The embossed pattern not only gives the jersey a special feel and high-quality wearing comfort but is also composed of the iconic Stuttgart steps, the Stäffele. Upon closer inspection, you can recognize examples like the famous Eugensstaffel, the idyllic Sünderstaffel, or the steps and tiers of the Cannstatter Kurve. The design is completed with white sleeve cuffs, which also feature parts of the fine embossed pattern, and a new V-neck, making the jersey a stylish companion both on and off the pitch.
