The Stuttgart Stäffele (Stuttgart Stäffele) in the chest band symbolizes our connection to our hometown. What distinguishes a VfB Stuttgart jersey, and what does the city of Stuttgart actually stand for? The new home jersey for the 2025/2026 season answers these questions in a very special and unprecedented way by bringing together the two unmistakable identifying features – the red chest band, which turns 100 this year, and the Stuttgart Stäffele (Stuttgart Stäffele). It thus symbolizes the connection between the club from Cannstatt and its hometown in the Kessellage region. Together with our new main sponsor LBBW on the chest and our long-standing supplier JAKO, the new kit, under the motto "STEP UP!", is intended to combine regional roots with the ambition to constantly move forward. This symbiosis is achieved through a modern yet harmonious design in the club colors of white and red, as well as progressive structures in the chest band and innovative embossing across the entire jersey fabric. The embossed pattern not only gives the jersey a special feel and a high-quality feel, but is also composed of the iconic Stuttgart steps, the Stäffele. Upon closer inspection, one can recognize, for example, the famous Eugensstaffel, the idyllic Sünderstaffel, or the steps and steps of the Cannstatter Kurve. The design is rounded off by white sleeve cuffs, which also contain parts of the fine embossed pattern, and a new V-neck collar, making the jersey a stylish companion on and off the pitch.
