With the official VfB Stuttgart home jersey for the 2026/27 season, the club embarks on a cultural journey through its home district of Bad Cannstatt. The jersey honors the history, tradition, and unique features of this Stuttgart district, created in close collaboration with kit supplier JAKO and main sponsor LBBW. The tribute focuses on the mineral water springs, early history, and the colors and achievements of Bad Cannstatt. With one of Europe’s largest output volumes and 13 officially recognized mineral springs, the water has shaped the district’s identity to this day. Early on, it was a key factor in settlements at the Neckar bend. Bad Cannstatt also plays a special role in football history. In the mid-19th century, its reputation as a spa town led English visitors to introduce football here early, laying an important foundation for Cannstatt’s great football tradition. The VfB home jersey 26/27 blends this cultural history with a modern design. The entire surface features tactile, embossed motifs inspired by the Cannstatt „Klösterlebrunnen“. These are complemented by typical regional symbols like the antlered stag and the Rössle. The characteristic red chest ring visually extends into the colored sleeves, fading gently upward—inspired by the flowing Cannstatt mineral water. The high-quality VfB embroidered crest is deliberately larger, creating a bold accent. The design is completed with a narrow round neck collar in the club’s white and red colors and one of the oldest depictions of the „Cannstatter Kanne“ on the nape.
