The third jersey for the 2024/25 season is all about the Weiße Wiese, Borussia Dortmund's first home ground. The white jersey features a poplar pattern reminiscent of the poplar trees that once colored the ground white. In August 1924, 100 years ago, the "Weiße Wiese," which had been converted into a stadium, lost its name and has since proudly been called BORUSSIA-SPORTPLATZ. As part of the "RE:FIBRE" process, supplier PUMA used 95% recycled polyester in the material composition of the third jersey. Using a new PUMA technology, no longer needed polyester is transformed into new fabric, which is now being implemented in the jerseys.
