The 24/25 away jersey is entirely dedicated to the motto "Borussia connects." This is why this lettering on the black jersey with a yellow chest area is not only visible in print, but also in hand signals in sign language and Braille, and can also be felt on the neck. BVB founder Franz Jacobi once said: "The quality of a football club is reflected in how it lives up to its social responsibilities." Under the motto "Borussia connects," BVB aims to continually fulfill this claim with various campaigns. The jersey represents the club's diversity and its ongoing work against racism, anti-Semitism, anti-LGBTIQ* hostility, sexism, and discrimination in order to promote an open society. As part of the "RE:FIBRE" process, supplier PUMA used recycled polyester in the materials for the away jersey. With the help of a new PUMA technology, no longer needed polyester is transformed into new fabric, which will now be implemented in the jerseys.
