The 24/25 away jersey is all about the motto "Borussia connects". That’s why this slogan is not only written on the black jersey with a yellow chest area but also visible in sign language hand gestures and Braille. Already BVB founder Franz Jacobi said: "The quality of a football club is shown by how it fulfills its social responsibilities". The club aims to live up to this claim with various actions under the motto "Borussia connects". The jersey represents the club’s diversity and its ongoing work against racism, antisemitism, LGBTIQ* hostility, sexism, and discrimination to promote an open society. As part of the "RE:FIBRE" process, supplier PUMA used recycled polyester for the away jersey’s material composition. With a new PUMA technology, unused polyester is turned into new fabric, now implemented in the jerseys.
