The design of the 24/25 tournament jersey combines various elements under the motto "History Remade" and is inspired by jerseys that have been worn in the past during legendary cup moments such as the 2013 Champions League final. It is an interplay of classic designs with which the BVB players want to write the next chapter in the club's history. The players will wear the jersey in their matches in the DFB Cup and the UEFA Champions League. The special feature of the cup jersey is the material from which the jerseys are made. With the help of PUMA's innovative RE:FIBRE technology, new fabric is created from unsold polyester. From old to new – again and again! The jerseys of the 2024/25 season mark the beginning, so that from now on, all subsequent jerseys will be produced using this technology.
